Planned works in William Bay National Park

26-Aug-2021

Some upgrade works will necessitate the temporary closure of Madfish Bay road at the Waterfall Beach junction including the Madfish Bay car park from late August until the end of September. This is to provide a safe contractor operational and materials laydown area.

A helicopter will also be operating to move trail surfacing material within the park from during September, for your safety, please adhere to all signage and directions from onsite personnel.

These works are funded by the WA Recovery Plan which is also funding additional trail works under the ‘Great Southern Adventures Trails’ brand such as the repair, maintenance and improvement of the Bald Head Trail, the Castle Rock trail and the Harewood Trail in Denmark. The Fund also facilitated the transfer of the Southern Terminus of the Bibbulmun Track and the Munda Biddi Trail to their new location at the Visitor and Information Centre in York St, Albany.
