Outdoor Instructors and Experiential Program Facilitators for 2017 and beyond!

Adventureworks WA is a leadership and outdoor adventure specialist, working with individuals, schools and organisations across Australia and overseas for over 20 years. 

Our programs include adventure expeditions, INTO ADULTHOOD and Rites of Passage programs, in school workshops, school camping programs and outdoor education activities.

We deliver programs and experiences that are underpinned by positive psychology, coaching principles, strengths based approach and our own IMPACT model.

Location
We are based in the South West of WA and run programs in the South West, the Perth Region and the Kimberley.

Positions

We are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic female and male team members:
Experiential Program Facilitators and Activity Instructors
Senior Facilitators 
Program and Team Managers

Positions commence now and for the 2018 season. 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
First Aid and CPR
Working with Children Check
Surf Rescue / Bronze medallion
Australian Residency or Australian working visa
Driving Licence
Desired / Specialised Qualifications in any of the following
Diploma or Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation or equivalent
NORLS (National Outdoor Leaders Registration Scheme)
Senior or Wilderness First Aid 
Rock Climbing & Abseiling
High and Low Ropes Challenge Courses

Flat water / ocean kayak / canoe instructors

Bush walking / mountain biking / caving
Facilitation and Debriefing
Counselling / Coaching / NLP
Transformational program facilitation
Team building and team development activities


Experience
Experiential Program Facilitators and Activity Instructors
A minimum of 12 months facilitating and debriefing programs;
Great communication and facilitation skills and the ability to work with groups and individuals to facilitate inspiring and motivating adventure experiences;
Excellent group management skills and the ability to plan for and manage risk in an out door environment and potentially stressful situations; and experience working with a diverse range of ages, client groups and program styles will be well regarded. 

Senior Facilitators
All the above, plus:
A minimum of 5 years facilitating and debriefing outcome focused programs; and
Experience managing and mentoring teams.

Program and Team Managers
All of the above, plus:
Experience in development and design of experiential and outcome focused programs;
Experience managing and directing programs and logistics;
Developing and managing client relationships and expectations; 
Managing, training and mentoring team members; and
Management of equipment and systems that support excellence on program delivery

Leadership, motivation and initiative when working in an unsupervised capacity; and
