YOUTH WORKER (ACTIVITIES) – CONTRACT POSITION - 12 MONTHS
(with the possibility of extension)

The Shire of Carnarvon is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the contract position of Youth Worker (Outdoor Recreational Activities) for the Shire of Carnarvon's Youth Service. The Youth Worker (Outdoor Recreational Activities) will be required to assist with the delivery of outdoor recreational activities whilst providing support, information, advocacy and referrals to young people aged 10 to 18 who reside in Carnarvon and are at risk. Operating within the community development, youth work principles, you will assist the Youth Services team to engage stakeholders, develop, implement, deliver and evaluate activities, programs and services that meet the identified needs of the target group.


Dependant on your qualifications and experience, a cash component of $60,878 - to $65,916 per annum (exclusive of allowances as per Shire of Carnarvon Policies), superannuation (up to 11.50%) and 5 weeks annual leave loading is offered.
