Born and raised in Perth with an outgoing family, I grew up as comfortable at the beach and in the bush as I did in our own backyard. I’ve been lucky to have experienced land and sea scouts, camping, bushwalking, rock climbing, sailing, surfing, water skiing, kayaking, scuba-diving, snorkling, snowboarding and skydiving.
I’ve spent the better part of the last 30 years working in the sustainability, strategy, technology and project management spaces. I currently sit on several Boards including the WA Indigenous Tourism Operators Council (WAITOC), Aboriginal Tourism WA Limited (ATWAL), and Carbon Positive Australia (Cpoz). Having spent the last 3 years on the Board of Outdoors WA (OWA), I fully appreciate how valuable the Outdoors sector is to developing vibrant, active, healthy and sustainable communities.
