We are seeking applicants with a strong focus on developing their facilitation and technical skills and who have good availability during normal business hours, to provide quality camp experiences with a strong focus on customer service.
Successful applicants will be considered for casual engagements in our recreation camps delivering entry-level programs from the start of Term 4, 2022.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are reliable, can work well independently as well as in a team environment, and are keen to obtain outdoor instructor technical qualifications.
Employment is seasonal and during normal business hours with some evening programs and weekend work available (no overnight stay required). Applicants who are willing to travel to more than one recreation camp will find greater hours of work are available to them.
The instructor’s rate of pay is determined based on qualifications, experience, and the program being delivered.

OUTDOOR EDUCATION ASSISTANTS Kooringal Outdoor Education Centre- Christ Church Grammar School
Full-time, Fixed-term for the remainder of 2022
Christ Church Grammar School is seeking an Outdoor Education Assistant to join the dedicated team located at the Schools Outdoor Education Centre, Kooringal, situated on the Murray River near the town of Dwellingup and 110 km’s south-east of Perth.
This position will ideally suit a young enthusiastic person who is keen to develop skills and knowledge in the outdoor education field. The applicant we are seeking should have recently completed Year 12 studies and have a valid Australian driver’s licence, you will be physically fit and enjoy practical learning. You will be required to work in a wide variety of environments across Western Australia and will be based/live in at our Kooringal Outdoor Education Centre.
Commencing as soon as practicable, your duties will include:
working with young people aged 10 – 17 years, in an outdoor environment.
participating as an assistant instructor in a wide range of outdoor education and recreation activities including environmental education, canoeing, kayaking, bushwalking and abseiling/high ropes course.
assisting with tasks relating to centre management: including catering, equipment maintenance, building and grounds maintenance and driving vehicles.

COURSE COORDINATOR- Outdoor Education Group
Location(s): Camp Margaret River, Karridale WA
Based in the beautiful Margaret Region, Camp Margaret River, as the Course Coordinator you will be engaged from the pre-program handover through to program delivery. You will coordinate delivery of the operational and logistical aspects of program, working and communicating with a range of key stakeholders to ensure program delivery meets OEG and client expectations.
You will lead and mentor a team of staff on their journey with OEG, supporting and enabling their development and further contributing to the quality of our programs and the broader impact of development on our industry
