Orienteering

Orienteering is a cross-country navigation sport for all ages and abilities. Participants use a map and compass to find their way around a marked course, traditionally on foot and in the bush although newer orienteering disciplines involve metropolitan areas, mountain biking or even skiing.

Orienteering WA offers coaching opportunities and once you have got a hang of that then there are many orienteering events of varying levels for you to participate in.

Rogaining

Explore by paddling or walking (or running if you’re competitive!) intricate waterways using map and compass on a hunt to find controls (points). Teams of 2-5 select their own route to collect as many points as possible. All are welcome. For more information check out WA Rogaining.
